Terence A Marshall FCA
Trained and qualified with the firm becoming a partner in 1971. In his role as Managing partner Terry oversees the running of the practice whilst maintaining a large portfolio of clients covering many sectors.
Terry has wide experience in helping family owned businesses and the financial affairs of high net worth individuals.
Gordon J Beever MA(Oxon) FCA
An Oxford graduate Gordon has been a partner in Cresswells since 1973. Acting for a wide range of companies and professional firms, Gordon has detailed experience of companies operating in manufacturing, agriculture, textiles and finance sectors as well as acting for solicitors, barristers doctors and architects.
Specialising in corporate finance Gordon advises on corporate sales and acquisitions, restructuring and the raising of capital. Gordon has also spent time working with public finance and was Non-Executive chairman of the West Yorkshire Fire Authority from 2005 to 2007.
Graham Roper BA FCA
After graduating Graham qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985. Graham subsequently joined BDO Binder Hamlyn where he created a regional Business Service Department and was involved with the audit of listed companies.
Graham joined Cresswells in 1996 becoming a partner two years later. As well as providing business advice to owner managed businesses he also is in charge of the firms audit and accountancy services.
Paul S Vine MA(Oxon) FCA CTA
After graduating in mathematics from Oxford in 1984 Paul qualified as a chartered accountant before joining the tax department of Ernst & Young. Paul qualified as a chartered tax adviser and spent six years at Ernst & Young before joining the National and Provincial Building Society dealing with tax compliance and planning.
Paul has been a partner at Cresswells since 1998 and heads up the firm’s tax department.
John Dakin BSc ACA
A graduate of York University John trained and qualified in the York Horwath Clark Whitehill member firm. John spent fourteen years in York before joining Cresswells in 2005 and was made a partner in 2006.
Specialising in start ups and growing businesses John works closely with owner managers giving timely advice that improves profitability and access to financial information.
John has particular experience dealing with clients in the not for profit and charitable sectors.
